I am a school principal and have new staff coming in all the time.  Can you provide training for my staff so that they know how to teach effectively?

Yes.  You have a number of options:

• whole staff training carried out on the school premises
• cluster of schools getting together for the same training
• individuals attending a course, normally at either MathsBuddy Centre.

Do you tailor your courses to suit my school’s needs or is it a standard course that you deliver?

All courses are negotiated with the principal and the maths co-ordinator/Head of Department to ensure they reflect the needs of the school.  To ensure that the INSET is effective, MathsBuddy recommends that the staff provide details of what they are currently doing and where difficulties are arising.
